A complete transformation of a landmark pre-war residence in Manhattan's Flatiron District, executed with full Landmarks Preservation Commission approvals. We replaced the original flooring throughout with 4-inch white oak planks in a warm natural finish, and designed custom oversized base moldings to honor the apartment's dramatic ceiling heights, which reach 14 feet in places. The kitchen was gutted to the studs and rebuilt with a fully custom eat-in design, including a bespoke banquette and Visual Comfort lighting above. All windows were replaced with new, energy-efficient units, contemporary track lighting was installed throughout, and every wall and door was refinished in crisp white. Furnishings were curated from Ambella Home, Arteriors, Jonathan Charles, Theodore Alexander, and Bernhardt, with an Arteriors chandelier anchoring the dining room. A full design-build transformation in the heart of Southampton Village, and one of our most requested portfolio pieces: designed in 2017 and still serene, current, and timeless today. We replaced the main-level flooring with 4-inch white oak planks in a soft off-white finish, and where the original red oak remained in the bedrooms, our flooring team matched the finish so seamlessly the two woods read as one. The kitchen was enlarged and fitted with fully custom cabinetry, hand-built by our cabinetmaker over six months of meticulous work. The living room was expanded and opened with an oversized window framing the pool view, and custom wall moldings were installed throughout to give every room quiet architectural depth. Upstairs, all bedrooms were renovated with new flooring and windows, including custom bunk beds designed and built by our team. The finished lower level added a playroom, a guest suite with its own bath, and a private gym. Furnishings blend Ambella Home and Crate & Barrel, layered over Stark carpets, with Visual Comfort lighting throughout and a made-to-order Spanish credenza in white lacquer with lucite legs anchoring the dining room. A striking transformation in Sag Harbor, where we expanded the kitchen, reimagined the entire open plan, and added a screened porch off the living room, furnished in Kingsley Bate and overlooking the pool. Floor-to-ceiling windows and doors flood the home with light, while textured, muted wallcoverings add quiet depth throughout, including hand-applied grasscloth in the primary suite and a dramatic navy textured paper in the study. The enlarged kitchen features all-new Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances behind custom cabinetry panels, with an adjacent sitting area and an eat-in dining space anchored by a custom 80-inch round white oak pedestal table, made to order for entertaining. The bar is a jewel box: custom glass ceramic tile backsplash, a Waterworks navy and white bar faucet over a hammered chrome Waterworks sink, a Sub-Zero wine column, and beverage drawers. The primary bedroom was redesigned in soft layers, with Hunter Douglas banded shades, Sferra linens (a line we carry in-studio), and serene coastal artwork. Furnishings were curated from Theodore Alexander, Hooker, Ambella Home, Bernhardt, John-Richard, and Interlude Home, including custom swivel chairs around a chrome drum cocktail table, over custom carpets from Stark and Kravet. Visual Comfort lighting throughout, from the sculptural glass chandelier in the double-height foyer to the shell flush mount in the powder room, where a blue chevron wallpaper and brass-fitted marble vanity make the smallest room one of the most memorable. A complete gut renovation of a primary bathroom, designed and built entirely by The Hampton Home Design, and one of our most dramatic before-and-afters. We took a dated, marble-heavy 1990s bath down to the studs and rebuilt it as a light-filled retreat. The original small window was replaced with a dramatic floor-to-ceiling picture window, framing views over the pool and out toward the water. A freestanding soaking tub now sits in that light, paired with a brass floor-mounted tub filler and a sculptural brass chandelier above. The walls tell the story: a whimsical swimmers wallpaper above crisp marble subway wainscoting, a playful nod to the poolside setting. We designed a custom white oak double vanity with brass hardware and gooseneck faucets, flanked by brass-framed mirrors and sconces, and built a spacious walk-in shower lined in geometric woven-texture tile, echoed in the parquet-pattern floor. A full furnishing and decoration project in Country Pointe Estates, where we brought a bright new-build home to life with a simple, sophisticated coastal sensibility. Working with the home's clean architecture, black-framed windows, and white oak floors, we layered in warmth through natural textures: woven jute rugs, oak-framed dining chairs in ivory upholstery around a dark oval table, and a brass globe chandelier that anchors the dining room without overpowering it. The kitchen was styled to let its crisp white cabinetry and matte black pendants breathe, while bedrooms were dressed in soft blues and creams with playful modern art for an effortless, welcoming feel. Coastal touches, like the vintage surfboard displayed in the upstairs hall, keep the home relaxed and true to its Hamptons setting. Every piece was selected and placed by Hampton Home Design.

A full-service furnishing and styling project in a waterfront Quogue home, designed to feel serene, layered, and quietly luxurious. The design challenge here was working within selected rooms of the residence, so every choice was made to harmonize with the home's existing architecture while elevating each space to its full potential. Living areas were composed around bay views, with cloud-soft white sofas, custom navy and cream carpets, and lucite and textured-stone accents that keep the palette airy. Bedding throughout layers John Robshaw block prints with Sferra linens for that unmistakable made-bed softness, and each bedroom is anchored by curated fine art photography and coastal works chosen piece by piece. Furnishings were sourced from Interlude Home, John-Richard, Bernhardt, and Hooker, with Visual Comfort lighting adding warmth from room to room. A full gut renovation and expansion in Remsenburg, designed and built by Hampton Home Design, that reimagined a dark, dated galley kitchen as a bright, joyful heart of the home. We expanded the kitchen footprint and relocated the laundry room behind it, opening space for an entirely new layout with a seating island the clients had always wanted. The showpiece is the backsplash: handmade Moroccan clay tile in a soft aqua star pattern, made to order over six months and planned into the schedule from day one so the timeline never slipped. Fully custom cabinetry runs throughout, including a custom-crafted range hood wrapped in white oak that matches the floating shelves. New taller doors and enlarged windows flood the room with light and frame views over the surrounding marsh. Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances anchor the cooking spaces, with a paneled refrigerator, a wine and beverage center built into the island, and a brass pot filler, sculptural glass pendants, and brass fixtures adding warmth against crisp white counters. A dedicated dressing room designed and built from a completely empty space, every inch of it custom, by Hampton Home Design. All cabinetry was built on site: floor-to-ceiling wardrobes with brass rods and jewelry trays tucked behind their doors, banks of drawers with brass hardware, open shelving proportioned for handbags and shoes, and a bench for slipping boots on and off. A glass-topped vanity runs the length of the window wall, catching natural light for morning routines, with a full-length brass-framed mirror opposite. Overhead, a brass bubble-glass chandelier gives the room the feel of a private boutique, warmed by a plush cream rug underfoot.
